Google Assignment 2

a. More practice with Google Docs (word processing)

Use Google Docs and recreate the document My Impressive Google Documents Skills--Part 2!   You should not insert text which is in red. The red text is there only as explanation for the assignment. Your formatting does not have to exactly match mine, but should be similar. Also, some of the highlighted words may be a bit off in the assignment, such as "a green background," which should highlight the phrase "a green background." After creating the document, move the document into the Google drive course folder.

b. Organizing with Google Drive (uploading/downloading/document management)

• IMPORTANT Before attempting this assignment, watch instructional videos 9 and 10 in Google Drive Resources
• Use Microsoft Word and create two documents on your hard drive named “My Favorite Restaurant by [yourname]” and “Where I Want to be in Five Years by [yourname]”    Write a least a paragraph for each document. NOTE: if you do not have Word, or do not yet know how to use Word, you can download and use my version of these two files here: My Favorite Restaurant by Jim Cammack and Where I Want to Be in Five Years by Jim Cammack
• Upload the two files to Google Drive into your Google Drive Course folder.  Keep the docments in Word format in Google Drive and do not convert the files to Google Drive documents.
• Create a folder within your Google drive course folder and name the folder MyPics.  Upload at least two photos into your MyPics folder.   [note: most photos can be directly uploaded to Google drive and you can view them in Google Drive, because Google recognizes many common picture formats, such as png, jpg, gif, etc.]
• Rename your MyPics folder to Interesting Photos
• Download the document My Impressive Google Documents Skills--Part 2! to your computer as a pdf document.  

c. Completing the Assignment

For Google Assignment 2 in Blackboard, upload the pdf file My Impressive Google Documents Skills--Part 2! (which you downloaded earlier) and also create a clickable link to the Google Drive Course folder. Note: I will grade most of this assignment via the Google drive course folder, which you shared with me previously in Google Assignment 1.   Be sure all the correct files are in the folder and it is shared properly.    I will post your grade for this assignment in Blackboard on Google Apps Assignment 2.    You must submit the assignment in Blackboard to receive a grade for this assignment.
